Melville wins the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025

Ditre Italia is delighted to announce that yesterday evening, the 6th of November, the Melville sofa designed by Patrick Norguet was unveiled as the winner of the Furniture category at the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025.
An important acknowledgment that recognises the company’s constant commitment to designing products that combine elegance, comfort and innovation.

This latest success at the ADA (Archiproducts Design Awards) once again confirms Ditre Italia’s reputation as one of the leading lights on the contemporary design scene.
Every year this prestigious award ceremony brings together businesses, designers and brands from all over the world to celebrate products that stand out for their design, aesthetics and functionality.

The winners are chosen by an international jury of architects, designers, journalists, photographers and creatives from different fields of design and architecture who evaluate every product on the basis of criteria such as originality, innovative materials, sustainability, production quality and aesthetic value.

Melville therefore takes its place on the global stage thanks to its balance of minimalism and elegance: as simple as origami, as sophisticated as a tailored jacket.

The first sofa by Patrick Norguet for Ditre Italia combines strong volumes with an elegant and welcoming design, its enveloping comfort akin to that of a made-to-measure item of clothing.

Its most distinctive details are the edges of the backrest and the seat which, folded like the buttoning on a collar, support the large padded elements, emphasising their softness and generousness.

The Melville collection is completed with matching armchairs, covered in fabric like the sofa, perfect for adding an extra touch of personality to contemporary spaces.
